Truck advice and biodiesel mixes [RE-wrenches]

So, you mean that acreage that's currently being used to raise people
food is being converted to raise car food? I have a hunch that people
who are now starving are not receiving food for reasons other than a
lack of available tillable land. A better guess would be that
socio-economic conditions unfavorable to those who are, as they say at
the white house, "nutritionally under-served" (or some similar crap),
will remain so until the societies responsible for the problem make a
paradigm shift in favor of the poor.

Most of the corn crop in the US now goes to feed livestock, so perhaps
the biggest problem from growing fuel will be in the feedlots in the
mid-west. We can be certain that as long as the wealthy nations can pay,
there will be something to burn in the engines of our cars, even if it
means trading food for fuel. The biggest problem is, of course, that
there are too many cars and too many people driving them.
