Demand heater for SHW backup [RE-wrenches]

Gas over electricity due to efficiency? That makes no sense as the 
efficiency is so much lower in the gas unit.

A super insulated tank heater has next to no standby losses and will 
last indefinitely if the anode is changed every few years. Plus no 
calling or freezing potential.
