Kurt,
The output (A/C) of the inverter can be installed in any approved raceway or
cable assembly. PVC (sch 80 if exposed) is an approved method. The metal
raceway rule only applies to the unfused D/C output of the array. If you
are installing a high voltage system, the voltage drop is similar for A/C or
D/C. Either way would work.
