Converting Off-Grid OB to Grid-Tie [RE-wrenches]

This is good news, but how do you tell the inverter its AC source is a 
generator that you do not want it to sell power to?

I would guess you have to have a manual transfer switch and also go into 
the mate to tell it, it is AC2 and not AC1 every time you want to use a 
generator. If this is correct it gets a bit complicated for the average 
"Joe" out there without a technical background.
