I don't know if this is to be recommended but on my house and another
job I have used "Self Adhesive Laminating Sheets" which come in a 9"x12"
size. I have all my lableing laid out on an excel sheet, cut the
laminate down to 8-1/2" wide for the laser printer and print it. The
clear backing looks very good on the equipment. The local utitility
even complemented me on the nice look of the signage. Makes it easy
because you can print out everything on one sheet and throw it in the
truck. My concern is what it will look like 5, 10, 20 years from now.

Electrical contractors used to use "Bakelite" labeling which is engraved
by a sign shop. They are screwed onto the panel. I guess they use
plastic now. I have to look for a local source to work with for the
commercial job I'm on now.
