AGS thru a MX? [RE-wrenches]

was i dreaming --  was there ever a way of using the MX's aux out w/AGS from 
the mate/hub? i found a little about "remote" in the MX manual, but not much 
in the mate's. ( Outback folks were not real encouraging) -- could have sworn i 
stumbled across it someplace. db
