Federal business tax credits - not applicable if business uses AMT? [R

The present Federal Energy Bill that has cleared one huddle so far has a provision to both extend the 30% tax credit AND to allow application to AMT payers. Cross your fingers and WRITE to your leaders and tell them to get this passed! However, it still must get past the wicked pen of Bush....
