Roy,
We have a longstanding corporate policy that the cash proceeds from
materials recycling - mostly batteries, but also copper, aluminum, etc. - go
into the microbrew fund. It beats buying beer, even at wholesale, and helps
supply the patience and humor, too.

And one day several years ago I was taking some batteries to the scrapyard
and left a half hour later with a good running Mercedes turbodiesel sedan
for $825, which I'm still driving, now on veggie oil and B100 (conversion
kit and dual fuel tanks) ...
