Just went to NRG's website to order a Wind Watcher and can't find it. Looks
like it's no longer around. Too bad as that was the cheapest way to qualify
a site or document the wind speed that a turbine was actually seeing. $300
included the anemometer and data logger with display.
I'm currently looking for something similar. I'm looking for suggestions
for an affordable (<$500) instrument that can actually measure and calculate
the average wind speed?
