Outback 3048 with turbo [RE-wrenches]

Hello

 

What is the best method for addressing the challenge of starting a 3hp motor
with an outback 3048?

 

The specs say it can handle 70 amps peak ac for 1msec and 50 amps surge RMS
for 100msec

 

What is the biggest motor you folks have started and kept running with an
OB3048 with turbo?

 

Anyone want to chime in would be appreciated.
