Ground mount racks [RE-wrenches]

Colleagues:

I have a few questions about ground mount racks (none tracking).   If you 
are inclined to indulge my curiosity, I would be most grateful:

1. Do any of you install tilt adjustable ground mount racks?  How important 
do you consider tilt adjustability on grid-tie systems?  How about for 
off-grid systems?

2. How many of you have your foundations engineered?
