We are running [2] '06 Dodge Cummins 1 ton one with a custom built flatbed
with side boxes above and below, removable ladder-lumber racks. We chipped
them and are getting 22-25 mpg running on the flats and 19 mpg pulling a
grade and 95+ mpg going down hill with B-40 and a bit less with fossil
diesel. The fuel mileage keeps improving as we drive and the engine loosens
up. We were told that they would improve for 20k miles. We are at 7k and 13k
miles.
The ride is great and reliability has been excellent. We love the milage
over our '96 Ford Powerstroke that is chipped & been on B-20 and B-40 since
'02. We get our best power and mpg in all the trucks with B-40 better than
B-20 and way better then B-100.

We also found these trucks in northern IDAHO at $30k and $31k out the door.
Contact off list if you are interested in where.
