Use of NABCEP Certification [RE-wrenches]

If Maine requires a NABCEP installer to actually install the system  
and we've got a rogue out there scamming it, then PLEASE send all the  
pertinent data to Pete Sheehan. psheehan at nabcep.org
If what you say is true AND can be verified AND Maine does NOT allow  
folks to DIY (many states do) and get the rebate, then NABCEP will  
take action against the Certificant. Depending on the facts of the  
case, this could be anything up to revocation of his/her certification.
However, IF Maine allows a licensed electrician to do the job and a  
NABCEP Cert. to sign off on it, it might be very tricky to get actual  
proof of that unless somebody flips and rats out the others.
Keep me in the loop.
