SW Absorption Timers Awry [RE-wrenches]

Hi Mike

My problem is a bit different from the one you describe. In my
case, I look at the status of the timers in the technical menu,
(I think it's no. 27), and I see that they are at random places in
their cycle from the beginning of a charging session. For
instance, both absorption time settings can be at 2 hours, but
immediately after we turn on the generator, we may find one of
the inverters claiming that it's completed 40 minutes of the
cycle, and the other claiming it's completed 1 hr 40 minutes,
when neither should have even completed 10 minutes. At this
point, the actual voltage of the batteries while charging with an
AC source doesn't have any bearing. The problem is that the
timers have been moving forward while the AC source has
been turned off - whenever the sun brings the voltage up
above a point several tenths of a volt below the inverter bulk
charging level.

Does anyone have any more clues what's going on here?
Thanks a lot for all of your suggestions and interest,
Robert Nuese
