I just designed a system using a sma si using a 3/4 hp gould pump and a 
psx 240.  The continous rating of the pump was 8 amps (4 amps per pole 
240 system)  and 32 amp surge (16 amps @ each pole)  I have not tested 
it yet but will be installing it as soon as we get rebate approval.
