Vent on a near perfect roof [RE-wrenches]

Hi Peter,

I don't know if its code, but I have cut the pipe off below the  
panels, and then installed more pipe to it to then reach above the  
panels or to the side of the panels.
I don't like to cut a new hole in the roof even if I have access to  
the attic.
