I've created a system using "aircraft" cable and 2 x 4's with slots cut in
them for the cable.
The cable(s) have stops every two feet with fender washers for the 2 X 4's
to rest on.
The slots have a hook to keep the cable locked in.
Light and easy to set up, only 1 1/2" off the roof.
I use 5/8" X 8" lags to anchor the cables.
No time to rock climb anymore, got to get the jollies somehow...
