The March 809 BR pumps have brush-type motors, not brushless. Conergy
carries them as well as replacement brushes, although I have yet to see a
worn out pair. They are available in either 12 or 24V.

I am using a Hartel MD10 HEH brushless 12 volt DC motor coupled by
magnetic drive to the pump head for the glycol loop on our 2, 4 X 10
SDHW system. The piping to and from the panels is 120' of 3/4" copper.
The system works excellent! March also makes brushless DC SDHW pumps for
this purpose too.
Since you have 24 volts, why not put in a 24 to 12 volt voltage
regulator to convert the power to feed this great pump?
