Only until the OutBack's get too hot and shut off. If AC loads are 
running at the same time it will reduce this from occurring.  

All of the systems we have done have had about even amounts of grid-tie 
and battery based inverters - i.e. if there was 8 kW of SunnyBoy then 
there was at least 8 kW of OutBack inverters... 

There are ways to configure a system to prevent overloading the 
OutBack's if they had to be less - basically you can have a dump load 
turn on the burn up the excess power on the AC side of the system - 
between the batteryless gridtie and the OutBacks.  

Dave Katz's comment about providing a way to shut off the batteryless 
grid-tie inverter when the battery is full was correct - although I 
prefer to use a dump load system which diverts the excess power to a 
useful purpose instead.  This has varried from using some old C40 
controllers to multiple solid-state relays.  The SSR give the option of 
dumping the excess to either AC or DC loads.
