Outback with Sunnyboy [RE-wrenches]

We have many fielded systems with SunnyBoys and OutBack inverters 
together - in about every immaginable configuration - and they have 
worked well together without any islanding issues.  

The OutBack's can be used to provide utility back-up together with the 
SunnyBoys - in what is called an "AC coupled" configuration - the 
OutBack then provides the utility outage detection and disconnect 
function allowing the SunnyBoy to continue to produce power to operate 
loads.  Is this what you are considering?  

We are happy to assist with the design of configurations such as these - 
it can be done with virtually any brand of batteryless grid-tie inverter
