Small Inverter for grid tie? [RE-wrenches]

I got a suggestion of using one of the 48 VDC nominal inverters - the
Xantrex STXR1500

After the disasterous suntie history with performance affected by clouds and
the MPPT algorithm etc, does this version perform better? I recall that
there was a "patched" version but then all efforts went into the GT (which I
really like).

Any input on good/bad/medium experiences with this particular model would be
greatly appreciated. Even at "mediocre" this approach may outperform the AC
output limited SB700.

Any other inverter suggestions out there?

Subject: Small Inverter for grid tie?

Fellow wrenches - any suggestions of a grid tie inverter to fit 8 Evergreen
GL-120 modules? I am locked into the module and the #... My plan "A" is the
SB-700 with too much lost power due to array over sizing. the GT and Fronii
seem to be out (IG 2000?) - I am not familiar with the other options...
120 VAC would be best, 208 second best and 240 third. Any help/suggestions
would be greatly appreciated, as always!
