Hugh,

We have just had a visit 'down under' from Dr. Morgan Williams.
He is Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment in the UK...

He said that rooftop wind turbines with output of 1.5kW could provide
between 2000kW to 3000kW hours electricity per year.
He was referring to a Scottish rooftop turbine not sure of the name.

There seems to be serious misinformation going on, maybe Hugh you could have
a quiet word to your countrymen ??

Well for as long as I can remember it has been just about ready for
the market. I don't think you can just go out and buy one quite yet.
They are appearing on buildings here and there, for publicity
purposes I assume, but they mostly seem to be 'locked down' in short
circuit and rotating gracefully slowly. Most people presumably don't
realise this is not normal speed.
