SWIFT Rooftop wind turbine..... [RE-wrenches]

Hi Roy (and all)

Who said I was in favour of them....?

In fact I had asked Hugh a couple of years ago what he thought of them and
it was similar to your reply.

What I was trying to do was get some evidence for a film crew that was
arriving out to get my opinion of them. And you look pretty silly talking
on national tv saying you don't like the system just because you don't like
it. They tend to like facts & figures.

Joel gave me the ammunition I needed, so I quoted Paul Gipe. Easy way out.
The problem always is that they edit out all the truthful statements and
leave 10 sec of what they wanted you to say in the first place.

Great stuff tv.

Thanks for the help Joel, cheers, John V

John,

Please don't take my reply the wrong way....no disrespect intended for
you.....only for the manufacturers that continue to perpetuate this
myth....and create the perception that this is not only possible but viable.

The more I learn, the less I know for certain....BUT....one thing I am
absolutely sure of is that mounting ANY wind turbine on a roof is a
REALLY bad idea....on so many levels that I will not list them here! But
if you like the sound of free energy coursing through your roof
framing.......

With that said, if you included a link, it did not come through in your
Wrenches posting.

But I have seen this P.O.S. before.....2000 kwh per month, ehh? I just
KNEW someone would be able to break those pesky rules of physics one of
these days! Imagine all that wind potential now available within the
turbulence zone found around your roof.

And finally....I love the "embedded" renewable energy line......that's
embedded in your roof or lawn by the way....

Just my (not) so humble opinion....
