Hi Todd,

I do think its ingenious, just complicated.

Given that the genny is probably an inexpensive model and the customer
doesn't want to spend the extra money for a seldom used item, I still  
think that
a regular battery charger would be much simpler ( and probably  
cheaper) than the method stated.

For example a 40 amp 48v IBE industrial charger can be gotten for  
around the same price as the system Darryl
designed and it would be much more reliable, and its off the shelf.
