  In my 15 years as tech support at Real Goods (when damn near all we had
was mod-sine), I don't remember ever meeting a Frigidare washer that DID
work on an inverter. They were the one manufacturer we could pretty safely
just tell off-grids folks to stay away from. I believe you've just
demonstrated the continuing wisdom of that advice.

Does anyone have any info on which models of Front Loading washers work on
Mod Sine inverters?
I'm wondering if the bottom of the line Frigidaire model with old style
timer and no obvious digital bells 
and whistles will work. I recently had a client try a Frigidaire Gallery
model GLTF2940E, and it didn't work
on her DR3624.
