Just prior to the XL.1 release, after looking at the rather primitive controller Bergey was selling, I contacted Bergey about alternate controllers for the XL.1. I managed to hook a Bergey designer up with Dan Pringle at SCI in an attempt to get the XL.1 working with an MPPT controller. Didn't quite pan out, but I seem to recall some options Bergey had considered for different (higher) alternator voltages. If we knew the possible input range options for a WindyBoy, Bergey might possibly be
willing to cooperate.
