hey Kelly;
       dan here. i managed to connect to a droid at generac a few years ago. 
seems the only way to fake a two wire start on generacs is to use your outback 
relay set up to trip a two pole relay connected in parallel with  the manual 
side of the two pole control switch on the genny. (the rocker switch). i get 
12v from the 15A fuse. on the gen set, and make the circuit through the relay 
driven by the outback. leave the rocker in off.
