The OSEIA Solar Construction Safety Manual is finally ready! It's been a
long process but we have the manual online for download. You can
download the manual at: http://www.oseia.org/solar_safety_training.htm .

 

OSEIA has written the Solar Construction Safety manual to provide the
industry with a top to bottom task oriented manual to working more
safely in the solar industry. The manual was written under a grant from
Oregon OSHA and is available for free download. The safety manual is
designed specifically for the solar industry to help both employers and
employees to work more safely and to meet OSHA safety requirements. It
includes forms, check lists, and training verification sheets that can
be copied and altered to fit a company's specific needs. 

 

The safety manual covers the following subjects:

Module 1: General jobsite safety

Module 2: Lifting safety

Module 3: Ladder safety

Module 4: Fall protection and jobsite trip hazards

Module 5: Solar plumbing safety

Module 6: Solar electrical safety
