Clamp on Ground Testers [RE-wrenches]

Hi All;

Has anybody tried the clamp on ground resistance testers like the 
Amprobe DGC-1000A or FLuke GEO 30? I've been wanting to accurately 
measure ground impedance for a long time, but most of the equipment not 
only was expensive, it required interrupting the grounding system to 
measure it. These new clamp ons supposedly clamp on right over the rod 
without disconnecting anything, and in a few seconds you have an 
impedance to ground measurement. (its actually in the article 250, but I 
never saw anybody actually measure it)
I'm just comparing features and price, and hoping for some of your good 
old real world feed back, before I make an expensive mistake.
