MREF bozos,

You noticed I didn't even make it to the NOTworking dinner.

For over 10 years I longed to take the annual Prescott College Alumni  
5-day river rafting and kayaking trip in Utah, but alas, it's also at  
summer solstice.

I just returned from the river!  -- missed you guys at MREF, but had  
the time of my life in the canyon lands. I hope you knew when to end  
the fair, without my flute-playing walkabout at the end. -- Instead,  
I made flute-echos between 500-foot canyon walls!

Moving on, I'm finding interesting projects ... Went to Nepal  
recently to help Dennis Ramsey (HP author) with his ongoing work in  
illuminating the illuminated at mountain monasteries there. More to  
come, maybe in the Amazon?

Off-topic I know, but I just had to send you guys a love letter. You  
know who you are. Hope you had a joyous fair. Contact me off-list any
