Hello Pilgrims
We have a situation where we did a project over a year ago and the client
decided to change all of the hardware on the batteries to stainless steel-
nuts, bolts, washers, split bolts. There seems to be issues now with bolts
jiggling off in the last few months, coming loose and one battery- semi
meltdown of a post.
We checked the crimps on the cables and they look clean with no visual sign
of looseness and degradation. Perhaps soldering them after could help and
let it flow into the crimp. Ironically these are IBE batteries and are
usually robust.
I realize stainless isn't the best conductor, but just checking to see what
the general populous thinks about this situation?
Suggestions please?
Thanks in advance.
