Hi Allan,

I've tried zapping them with 24v straight off my battery bank  
( gloves and eye protection to be sure).

Sometimes it helps for a little bit, but mostly not.

Just seems a shame to recycle a mostly good battery.

Is there anywhere that will take them to "reuse" the good cells?  I  
don't care for any return.
