Randy,
Standard block pavers (4"x8"x2") have been used for many years by PV and
others with good success. Easy to move around (with gloves of course).
Bill.

Subject: Non-penetrating Roof Rack Ballast Questions [RE-wrenches]
Hi fellow Wrenches,
I need help with suggestions for ballast material for a non-penetrating,
ballasted flat-roof rack system using UniRac. The roof pan dimension are 9'
x 4' with the 9' side being the front and back dimension. The module tilt
angle is 20 degrees, leaving a space available for ballast of between 2" in
the front side to 18" in the back. I need to add about 600 pounds of
ballast to each rack. Are there any practical ballast materials I should
consider to do this? What have you used successfully that is permanent,
practical, low-cost, and can be moved easily onto a roof and into place?
Thanks for the help,
Randy Sadewic
