Kurt, Yes they are. The 750w/hp is right out of the physics handbook and is
theoretical only. Yes the real worlds steps in. So its more like a 1/2 hp eats
about 1,000 w (assuming standard ac induction pumps)
I too like the SQ flex pumps.
