Hi Marco,
We recently installed a 3.5KW system using the GT3.0 with the blessing of
Xantrex folks.
There's a system calculator on their website that tells all -
www.xantrex.com/support/gtsizing/ should get you there. The sizing program
allowed up to 4.4 KW, in 2 strings for that job.
