I don't believe any of us in California are intentionally acting "spoiled" 
here.  I'm certain we all wish every state had a good rebate and 
net-metering program.  I believe if one program is successful, more are 
likely to be.

I debated about broadening the topic on this forum.  It may be more 
appropriate on the marketing list, or even a separate California only 
list.  I have, however,  heard enough interest here from non-California 
wrenches intent on getting programs started in other states that I though 
there might be a more general interest in our successes AND failures.

Also of concern is not getting our list moderator in an awkward spot by 
violating the ground rules.  My utopian ideal is that we regulate 
ourselves.  If anyone is bothered by this thread, a quick note is all I 
need to convince me to move this over to the marketing or bitching 
list.  Is this what  you are saying?
