Thanks to all who gave input on the E-Meter question. I got a job that has
a never installed, 5 year old system still in the boxes, that is finally
ready to hook up. Unfortunately, many documents were missing. Most of the
docs were easy to find. I did download the Xantrex - E-Meter information,
and hope that it will be adequate for the meter I got.
On the question of the wires that the manual says should go to the positive
battery leads.

I'm glad to hear that there aren't any problems with the leads going to the
positive bus bar. It appears to me that there is a code conflict putting
the small wires in the battery box. My reading is that wires 2/0 or larger
are "permitted" in the box. To me that language is a bit hazy since it
doesn't say smaller wires aren't permitted, but that is how I've
interpreted it.
Thanks again,
Drake
