Kelly,
It was set up to remind the customer to charge the batteries, so the best
way to turn off the alarm is to charge the batteries full. If for some
reason that's not an option, you can either turn off the "Time to charge
full" reminder, which will not change any other setpoints, or you can reset
tha AH number, which will turn off the alarm, but will also make it read
100%, whether it is full or not. Programming for the ChF is found in the DSC
menu item.

For setpoints, check the BHi for max voltage achieved; reset it; allow
awhile--a week or so--for the owner to recharge to what he or she thinks is
full. Then check BHi again. If it's reasonable, set the charged voltage
.3-.5V below that and call it good. If it's low, tell the owner to hire you
to put in a 48V system that's capable of working...no, tell him how to get
his batteries full and have him charge again. For the A setting, ideally it
should be about 2%, or 70A; but at a C/17 max charge rate and that many
parallel strings, you may never get there. So you can disable the A setting,
and have it just reach 100% based on threshold voltage achieved.

Hope this helps.

I was looking for a way to reset the Trimetric chF alarm (flashing lights)
without unplugging the meter (and loosing the collected data). Anyone
figure out how to do this?

What voltage/current setpoints are used in a system with a big bat bank and
only gen charging? This particular bank is a 3500AH at 12V, (I know, I
didn't install it), and is capable of charging at 200A max.
