Hi Todd;

I was referring to the Trojan T105. I don't go over 16 batteries, and try
no to go over 8 batteries at 12 v. I go straight up to the big stuff . I'm
trying the Rolls 5000 currently because of its advertised 2000 cycles at
80%DOD. Nobody ever confirmed that BTW, but no one on the list disputed it
either. I used Exide, Bulldogs, etc., but for handling purposes I like
smaller packages. The Rolls I last used were 250 lb per 4 v battery- just
dooable for 2 guys. I like that they have handles, but I wish they were not
on the side. The side handles take way too much valuable space in the
battery box. If they last as long and really have the AH claimed at the 100
hr rate, they should be great.
I offer fairly sizable discounts to make skipping past the bogus L16 s
easier for the customer.
The more premature failure L16s I move to the recyclers the more I hate
them. My original home system used those, and it almost broke up my
relationship. They never had half the real world amp hours they claimed.
And moving old ones without any carrying handles or mounts...
