rechargeable batteries [RE-wrenches]

Hello Jay,

We used to take ours to the local "Battery Outfitters" but have had pour
success with them lasting as long at the factory batteries despite claims of
the replacement cells being equivalent of the factory cells. And they only
cost a few dollars less then buying a new battery. I complained about this
and they are rebuilding one pack a 2nd time for free. We'll see how it
works.

In the last year Dewalt has been offering 2 packs of 18 volt batteries for
about a ~$100. I'd check your local big box home store and E-Bay for the 2
packs. We've bought several these sets and are pleased with them.

Pending the results of rebuilt battery we'll probably just recycle them from
now on.

Best,

Travis Creswell

I'm now getting a collection of mostly dead, somewhat dead and
totally dead 18v DeWalt batteries.

Is there a place that will be rebuild them?

Or are they just recycle material at this point?

thanks,

jay
