Thanks for your responses. I probably will just keep the numbers I've been 
using. 88% battery(includes day use), 92% inverter (a bit optimistic), and 
add the inverter no load draw to bring reality back to inverter usage. Just 
every time I start putting a quote together for an off grid customer, the 
panels necessary and batteries required drives the cost out of reach of 
other wise willing customers. It must really be tough for you wrenches 
working in places with less sun!
