Wrenches:
In a recent post, Hugh Piggottlamented the control problems associated with
diversion charge controlling used in conjunction with generator
charging. Are there any charge controllers remaining with remote battery
voltage sensing? Rather than using high current switching to disconnect
diversion loads, one could switch the battery sense leads to a voltage
divider or regulated supply at an artificially lower voltage level thus
fooling the charge controller.
