Wrenches,
Anyone have experience getting a 'standby' generator to start from the inverter when there is no utility power present?
Specifically, I just finished a system with a pair of SWP's and in an attempt to hook up the two wire start circuit, ran into a snag. My Generac Industrial dealer was reluctant to share any secrets. He said it has the old board and you may have to trick the board with 12vdc to simulate utility power in order for the 2 wire start to work.
I had the client sold on a SG20 Generac prime unit, but go figure.
Does anything sound familiar, what works?
