Wrenches,
An old friend of mine is a French national. He recently bought a water mill in the French countryside and would like to use the river water that runs through it to produce our electricity. There is old (nonfunctional) equipment that is already in place. Among it are 2 turbines, one of which I'm told used to produce 80KWh(220 volts) but is broken, and the other one is of unknown specs but might work after receiving a little bit of attention.

He contacted me for advice, but I have no experience with hydropower, living here in the desert Southwest. My question is: Can anyone suggest reliable contacts in Europe(especially France) in the field of hydro-electric power generation of this scale? He says that France has a generous feed-in tariff for renewable electricity. I will forward any contacts directly to him.

Please reply on-list, or off-list to allan at positiveenergysolar.com
thanks,
Allan at Positive Energy
