Hello All,

 

These military surplus genies have been floating around for several years in
some fashion or the other.  I've been curious about them but haven't used
them.  I believe that Michael mentioned that he had just gotten one several
months ago (from E-Bay?).  How's that working Michael?

 

Apparently it can be adjusted from 10-32 volts output.  This tells me that
it could charge a 12 or 24 volt battery bank.  Obviously, it would require
attention or you could overcharge the batteries depending on the voltage you
set it at.

 

They could really be nice for low budget systems.

 

Any other comments or experience with them?
