Bill,
You mean our friends at AEE might actually sell something based simply
on making a few bucks today!!?? Oh! I'm shocked! Why this sounds just
like some other well known West Coast retailer I know all too
intimately.
[sarcasm mode off] I'm with you Bill. There's a reason I haven't done
any more than glance at the Ying Lee flyer. I'll be dragged kicking and
screaming into selling power production sized off-shore, off-brand PV.
It just gives me the creeps.
-Doug

Marco and Doug,
Never stop asking the question, "Is this company going to be around and
honor their product warranty 20-years from now." Several major
manufacturers
have had significant module problems over the last 20 years--those
companies
who had a big enough name actually stayed in business and honored their
warranties--others did not.
With all do respect to our Chinese friends, I have to doubt their
long-term
reliability and business fortitude. If BP, Shell, or Sharp wants to make
modules in China, that's fine, but Ying Li's Module House sounds really
scary to me. Sit tight, I know supply is tough, but getting stuck with a
MW
of bad PV modules can be way worse.
Bill.
