Hey Nick,

The ETAPUMP Mini would be MUCH better in long run as you seem to 
acknowledge, but Shurflo sub can be used, as long as its limitations 
are clearly understood by the customer (slow recharge of pressure tank, 
etc.).

I wrote an article called USING A DC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP IN A DOMESTIC 
WATER SYSTEM. It's in 2 parts, in Home Power #38 and 39. I detailed the 
whole situation in that article.
