Hi Ray -- I know a lot of building codes restrict buildings to two or
three stories or something like 35 feet, but this shouldn't be the same
deal restricting tower permits.  Unless you are talking city/suburban
lots which are not suitable for wind systems anyways, you should be able
to pull a taller permit, at least anywhere I have heard about.  If not,
don't bother with a wind genny.
