Is Vanner available to provide assistance here?

I don't know the answer re the neutral, but just because the output is
split-phase does not necessarily mean a neutral conductor is required. The
neutral is only required to provide 120AC. If the only loads are 240AC, such
as a dedicated inverter for a well pump application, the neutral isn't used.
I would assume that the same is true with grid intertie feeders.
