Flex is an alternative, but it would require at least 10 inches to offset
that far. All too often space is restricted and using an offset would be
better. Unfortunately, an offset won't span the gap. I don't sell the
parts, I only install them, but I bet a small Square D load center is much
cheaper than a PSAC with QOU breakers. A plug on load center would save a
lot of time over wiring buss bars. You can configure a Square D load
center as a transfer switch with the add-on toggles.
I just prefer having more options and compatibility with readily available
components...
